How To Repair Scratches In CarBy Clint PollardThis is a little trick I have used to repair scratches in my truck. The scratches I repaired were made by my cat jumping on the truck, so they were not very large and deep. You can try it on deeper scratches, but I don't know if it will work on them. I need to warn you this is just a temporary solution, It will only cover the scratches a short time maybe a month or two depending on how much you wash your car. Go to your bathroom and get a tube of tooth paste and put it on the scratches on your car, I just use my hands, but you can put it on with a cloth if you like. I leave the tooth paste on the scratches and let it dry. Later you can rinse the tooth paste off with water, don't rub the tooth paste off just rinse it off with the water. I don't know why it works, and don't know how deep a scratch it works on, but give it a try before you spend the money for a paint job on your car.
